  • Space is limited.
  • We encourage you to book your tickets in advance to ensure securing your seats.
  • Walk-up tickets may be available subject to availability.
  • If our electric boats are out of service for mechanical reasons a conventional ferryboat will be substituted with no discount in rate.
  • Tours depart from our Granville Island dock.

 
CANCELLATION POLICY:

  • Tours run rain or shine.
  • The boat is covered and cozy, so don’t let a little rain discourage you.
  • No-shows will not be refunded.
  • Minimum of 24hrs notice by email from ticket holders is required for tickets to be refunded or transferred to a different time/date.
  • If tour is cancelled due to high winds/rough sea state, refunds will be offered.

 
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

  • Where do you catch the tour?
    You will need to go to our Granville Island dock. The dock’s address is 1699 Johnston Street, Vancouver BC, V6H 3R9.

  • Is there a toilet on board?
    No. There are washrooms in the public market and we encourage passengers to use them before the tour.
  • Are lifejackets required?
    The boat has a full set of lifejackets for adults and children, but these are only used in emergencies.
  • What time should I arrive?
    Please arrive and check in at the dock shack ten minutes early. We can wait two or three minutes extra, but after that we will assign any remaining seats to passengers waiting on standby.
  • Should I tip the captain?
    Tipping is not required, however if you enjoyed your tour a tip to the captain will be sincerely appreciated.
  • Will it be a rough ride?
    Probably not. The boats are small, so expect a little bit of motion, but it’s usually a very smooth ride.
  • Is this tour included in my FCF DayPass ticket?
    No. If you would like to take the narrated tour and hop on and off we offer a $5 discount for the combined purchase. Add both ticket items to your purchase on our website and the discount will be automatically apooled at checkout. Daypass holders are also eligible for the same discounted rate at the ticket kiosk at Granville Island (subject to availability). Space is limited, so we encourage passengers to book ahead of time!
