The False Creek Ferry Ballet

Every July 1st (Canada Day), our ferries trade their usual routes for choreography. Our annual False Creek Ferry Ballet is a light-hearted local tradition where our little blue boats move in synchronized formation along the harbour, bringing smiles to thousands of spectators along the shoreline. It’s one of our favourite events of the season. Please note that we have altered the ballet route this year due to FIFA security restrictions in the east basin of False Creek.

All along False Creek. 8:00 am - 9:30 am, July 1, 2026.

The False Tour of False Creek

Not every harbour tour needs to be taken seriously. Now returning for its third year in collaboration with the Vancouver Fringe Festival, our False Tour of False Creek blends sightseeing with absurdity.   Think you know Vancouver history?  Think again.  The facts on this tour are guaranteed to be 100% made-up nonsense. This is a chance to see False Creek from a different perspective—and have a laugh along the way.
